Energy communities

Sharing is simply a way to benefit. Surprising, isn’t it?

Generating energy collectively from renewable sources makes us more self-sufficient, cuts energy costs, makes things fairer between us, looks after the planet and, of course, saves you money on your electricity bill.

Introducing self-consumption, all over again

In case you hadn’t read it before:

What is more constant than the sun, which is always there? At Voltaic we harness this inexhaustible source of green energy to generate your electricity. Sunlight is turned into electricity through solar panels. It’s that simple.

We develop a tailor-made project for your particular case and support you throughout your journey towards more sustainable practices.

And you’ll say: “Sure, great for a house. But what about my block of flats?” Picturing what the installation would look like may well give you a headache if you don’t have much information about it. Don’t worry: it’s our job to make community energy installations easy to understand.

Who can form an energy community?

Any person or business within a 2 km radius. You just need to agree among yourselves.

How does the solar PV installation work?

  1. Solar panels: they capture solar energy and turn it into direct-current electricity.
  2. Inverter: it converts direct current into alternating current, the kind you use at home, and feeds the energy into the grid.
  3. Shared meter: the device through which this energy is fed into the grid. It records all the energy produced and shares it out remotely among the individual meters of each community member.
  4. Individual meter: it receives the amount of energy corresponding to what its owner paid towards the installation. This is where the magic happens.

What can you expect from us?

We are the constant in your change, and it’s our duty to make it easy for you.
